hi, it's me again. =.= anyway, just now before we went to gather at the area beside the canteen, i briefed some people about the pupil leaders nomination. i have to finish the voting tmr so i need everybody to know asap. here are the information:

1. each class will have to select a maximum of 5 Potential Pupil Leaders (PPL) (PCs + PSLs = 5) and that will be endorsed by us and our form teacher.
2. we will have one day (today) to think of who you want to vote as the class nomination is tmr. 3. NOTE: EVERYBODY WILL HAVE TO STAY BACK FOR 20 minutes TMR, WEDNESDAY, AFTER SCHOOL, FOR THE NOMINATIONS. IT IS COMPULSORY.
4. when we nominate somebody tmr, we have to state 2 reasons why we are voting for her. (assistant monitress will take these down.)
5. ALL PUPILS WHO ARE NOMINATED HAVE TO TELL THE CLASS SOME OF THEIR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (at least 2 of each).
6. then, we will carry out the voting and vote for the final 5 PPL.
7. we will then have to decide if the final 5 are better suited as PCs or PSLs. (NOTE: candidates will not necessarily get their preferred choice.)
8. selected PPLs will have to paste a passport size photo of themselves (in school uniform) on the white forms that will be given out to you.
9. form teachers will have to endorse the form and state whether the candidate is 'strongly recommended/recommended/not recommended'. (this is just for your information.)
10. THERE ARE 4 WAYS BY WHICH YOU CAN BE NOMINATED: BY CLASS, PUPIL LEADERS, YOUR FRIENDS AND EVEN YOUR TEACHERS.
11. ONLY 1 FORM IS TO BE SUBMITTED PER PUPIL. for example, if you cca leader wants to vote for you, but your class also wants to vote for you, LET YOUR CLASS VOTE FOR YOU. there'll be a higher chance of being selected. :)
12. nominations end next wednesday, 30 july.

that's about it. i'll tell you all more tmr, if there is a need. please spread the message around to our fellow classmates and tell them to read this asap. i have to conduct the nominations tmr! thanks for your cooperation! :D

hello 1i, i think we did a marvellous job today for the cedar pasar malam! don't you think so? :) WE RAISED OVER $200 and i think that that's a great feat! well done everybody! i think we should celebrate all our success after our EYE. :D

hello, this is a reminder for ALL THOSE WHO ARE CONTRIBUTING THINGS TO SELL AT THE PASAR MALAM, PLEASE RMB TO BRING THEM TMR! if you are contributing other things (not for sale) such as plastic bags, containers and so on, please rmb to bring them too! it is very important that everything is 'present' on that day. thanks for your cooperation! :D

i'll briefly tell you the plan for tmr. we'll have mother tongue in the first period, followed by PE, which, like what alicia said, everybody has to be in PE attire. then we'll have our first ever cedar pasar malam! haha. those of you who are having 'duty' either in the first, second or last shift of the hour, pls rmb to come punctually to the stall. during the one-hour recess, you can choose whether you want to change into your ethnic costume or not, but if you want to remain wearing PE attire, i think that'll be fine cos after the recess will be school dismissal already! :) however, at 10.30am, there'll be an announcement for ALL CEDARIANS to go back to their classes. this is when we'll have to 'close our stall' and bring all the money raised back to our classroom. there, we'll have to wait for a teacher to come and collect the money that we raised. after the money has been collected, we can be 'officially' dismissed already. (p/s: mr chan will be there to dismiss us.)

so. there will be NO swimming on monday. because we only have one period of PE. and, so we have "land PE". simply is the normal PE we had before swimming lah. so we all must wear PE shirt for PE even if you plan to dress up for RH day. i suggest you change into ur RH clothes after PE. you can "show off" your RH clothes for jumble sale. (THIS IS JUST A SUGGESTION)

MISS LEONG HAD WARNED THAT WHOEVER NEVER WEAR PE SHIRT FOR THAT DAY WILL ALSO HAD TO RUN.

on behalf of the class, i shall explain everything out to everybody who reads this. about the 'argument' with 1s, it's not entirely our fault. it all started when this person, who claims that she is 'idelle', suddenly wrote on the tagboard of 1s's class blog saying that '1s sucks and 1i rocks'. this 'idelle', is definitely not the real idelle from our class. it could be someone else who wants to spoil the friendship between us or maybe that person just wants to have fun (although that'll be too much). anyway, we don't know who this person was and we don't know why she made such comments. if, it turns out that person is really someone from 1i, we'll definitely apologise to 1s. but the thing now is that we clearly have no idea who that person is. that's why we say that it is not entirely our fault. so, when 1s saw that message on their tagboard, naturally they'll get angry right? so they started 'scolding us back', and even using vulgarities. that is very unfair. although some of us here also used a bit of dirty language, we just feel that it wasn't our fault and that we shouldn't be accused! a few days ago, the matter was almost going to rest but somehow, it blew up again. actually, 1i has already decided to let the matter rest and 'shake hands', but we don't know about 1s. yes, we admit that we have gone wrong in certain areas and we apologise for that, but you can't just blame the whole thing all on us! we're sorry that such a silly comment would cause much disruption to almost the whole school, and we certainly hope that everything will be settled down soon and 1i and 1s can be friends again. :) but, we just want everybody to know that we, 1i, did not start this argument.
so, is this an explaination enough for you to understand?


btw 1i, just in case you still haven't got the new timetable, below is the one for tmr only.

hello everybody. about the meet-the-parents session, YOU MUST GO FOR THE PRINCIPAL'S ADDRESS. it is compulsory that us, students, attend the principal's address. it is ok if your parents don't attend the principal's address, although it'll be good if your parent(s) attend together with you. however, you need not go for the dialogue session with your parent(s). is it clear? on that reply slip where you wrote down the 'total no. of ppl' attending, that number DOES NOT include you. so for example, if you are going together with your mother only, you were supposed to indicate on the form that only 1 person is going. so that excludes you, since it's compulsory for us to attend. i know everyone has handed in their form to me already and it'll be too late to change. but i just knew it from mrs vivien koh just now in school... (p/s: yuan hui and raykal, pls get a copy of the reply slip cos i need to hand it in to mrs koh! thanks.)

i shan't post the timetable for tmr now, cos i've already written it on the whiteboard this afternoon. if not, you can refer to the previous, previous post.

one last very important reminder, PLEASE BRING THE $16 (for class jersey) TO SCHOOL TMR! thank you! this is very important.

EVERYBODY FROM 1I, THIS IS TO TELL YOU THAT OUR CLASS TEE ROCKS! okay, i know that i'm over-reacting, but i really love our class tee! it's so cute and nice! the front design, which jaime drew, is in the center and there's a 'I '08/09' at the right bottom of the drawing of the dolls. it's so cute! i love it! :D on tuesday, we'll show you the sample design (printed on paper). just that the eyes of the dolls look a bit weird. but there's nothing we can do now. however we change, it still looks a bit funny and out of place. so if you don't like the eyes, we hope you can forgive us... anyway, we'll tell you more about the class tee on tuesday. just rmb to BRING MORE MONEY ON TUESDAY. sorry but we have to pay the deposit first...

so, how was our first CEYD? i think it was fun, especially the assembly part. :D i enjoyed it man.

- YOU ARE ALLOWED TO WEAR ANY KINDS OF CLOTHES THAT YOU LIKE, TO EXPRESS YOUR PERSONALITY.

- THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS TO THE DRESS CODE AS YOU CAN WEAR ANYTHING YOU WANT. EVEN THE SKIRT LENGTH OR THE SOCKS LENGTH DOES NOT MATTER. JUST THAT YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO THE SCHOOL UNIFORM.

- YOU ARE ALLOWED TO TEMPORARY DYE YOUR HAIR OR PAINT YOUR FINGERNAILS TMR.

- YOU CAN WEAR ANY KINDS OF FOOTWEAR E.G. SLIPPERS, FLATS ETC.

- YOU CAN ALSO USE ANY COLOUR OF HAIR ACCESSORIES. YOU CAN EVEN WEAR SOME SIMPLE JEWELERY IF YOU WANT.

- IF YOU HAVE CCA AFTER SCHOOL, YOU HAVE TO CHANGE BACK TO YOUR CCA SHIRT OR STHG.

- THERE WILL BE AN ASSEMBLY PROGRAMME TMR THAT LASTS FROM 1PM TO AROUND 2.15PM.

- FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO WILL NOT BE ATTENDING SCHOOL TMR BECAUSE THEY HAVE CAMPS, COMPETITIONS OR ON MC BUT HAVE PAID THE MONEY, I WILL REFUND YOU ON TUESDAY.

so, have all of you understood the 'criterias' for the CEYD? and one more important thing: PLEASE DON'T WEAR SCHOOL UNIFORM TMR WHEN YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID THE MONEY. FEEL FREE TO WEAR ANYTHING YOU LIKE! :D
